In 1996, Java Bar Espresso was born in Manchester.
The name came from coffee itself. Java — one of the world's great coffee-growing origins, and a name long associated with coffee. Bar — because that's what we set out to create: a proper coffee bar. And Espresso — the Italian method at the heart of so many of the coffees we know and love today.
Thirty years later, the principles haven't changed. Our own house blend, freshly roasted for us by a local supplier. Great coffee. Great service. And a place where everyone is welcome.
